White Teas ~74⁰C (165⁰F) Well before boiling
Green Teas 76⁰ C -85⁰ C (170⁰F-185⁰F) Steam just beginning to leave the pot
Oolong Teas 82⁰C-96⁰C (180⁰F-205⁰F) Cool for about 2mins (lid open) after boil
Black Teas ~96⁰C (205⁰F) Cool for about 1mins (lid open) after boil
Ripe Pu-erh Teas 100⁰C (212⁰F) Boiling
Raw Pu-erh Teas (<5yrs) 82⁰C-96⁰C (180⁰F-205⁰F) Cool for about 2mins (lid open) after boil
Raw Pu-erh Teas (>5yrs) 100⁰C (212⁰F) Boiling
